What is the difference between a buyer’s agent and listing agent?
Answer: Typically, there are two agents involved in the home buying process. The buyer’s agent represents you. The Listing agent represents the home seller.
What is title insurance?
Answer: If there were any disputes over the title of the property, title insurance would protect the buyer and the lender against any possible losses.
What is a broker?
Answer: A broker has passed a broker’s license exam, required by law. They have further education beyond the agent level and they can work alone or hire agents to work for them.
What is an Escrow Officer?
Answer: An escrow officer is someone who assists you with the closing process on your property. Generally, they prepare final paperwork, perform title searches, confirm that the transaction is handled legally and properly.
